As a high school student attending School of the Future in NYC, she landed her first internship at G-Unit Records, a label owned and operated by rapper turned music mogul, Curtis Jackson aka “50 Cent”. Swaggy Sie was the youngest in the office but quickly gained her footing as a force to be reckoned with. After graduating High School, she attended Long Island University as a Broadcasting and Communications Major. While working on the Campus Radio Station, she developed an organic love for radio, a seamless transition that would lead her to an internship with SiriusXM Radio (Shade 45) in the summer of 2014.
Before graduating from LIU, Swaggy Sie completed her second internship with Sirius where she worked alongside hip hop legends Sway Calloway, Ed Lover, and DJ WhooKid, just to name a few. It was shortly after graduating in the Spring of 2015, she started her career in radio at SiriusXM. Poised with a calm head in a fast paced environment, a skillset very uncommon for someone her age, Swaggy Sie was promoted to Music Director for Shade 45.
Destined for greatness, Swaggy Sie’s charismatic personality and abilty to command the room, fostered her biggest career move to date. She now hosts The Heat morning show “The Heat Wave” and Hip Hop Nation’s evening show “The Culture Trap”, both on SiriusXM.
